Man charged with stealing weed trimmers

Cleveland County sheriff’s deputies said a Kings Mountain man took $900 in gardening equipment from an outbuilding.

Randy Wright, 41, of the 100 block of Gethsemane Lane, was charged with breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking/entering and possession of stolen goods/property. He was arrested Tuesday.

An arrest warrant states Wright took an Echo weed eater and an Echo trimmer. The outbuilding is located on Margrace Road in Kings Mountain.

Wright was booked into the Cleveland County jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
